Core Values
Having started the business, it's kind of a funny thing when you get to the day where you realize it's not really accurate to describe the company as a startup
anymore. With almost a decade under our belt and over 60 employees, we're not a massive organization but we’ve grown and matured to the point where
you really have to make an effort to preserve the kind of entrepreneurial spirit we had in the beginning. We decided that investing in our culture was going
to be vital to our success and we set out to purposefully shape and protect it. A first step was to formally write out the things we value and use that as a
foundation. Giving credit where it's due, we were inspired by the story of Zappos.com and much of what we've done to improve our culture and our
company we learned from them. Like most things, our company and our culture is a work in progress, but our employees can tell you that we often talk
about our core values and we do our best to live up to them.

Be Proud of What We Do
We should only be involved in activities in which we can and will do an excellent job in. We may or may not be the biggest, but we will be the best. Always project a professional image. Invest in your reputation.
Be Genuine
Endeavor to be real in our interactions. Communicate in plain English and be honest. Acknowledge mistakes. Don't oversell our capabilities. If being frank will break a deal, let that deal be broken.
Do More With Less
We don't need to have huge resources to accomplish huge things. Leverage the strengths we have and set our sights high.
Be Passionate and Determined
Without passion and determination, Metaverse would not exist. These attributes are what enable us to do more with less and to improve ourselves despite the competition we face and the enormity of the tasks before us. Think long term. Take reasonable risks and learn from mistakes.
Obsess over Customers
Connect with customers, treat them how we expect to be treated as a customer, and make service a theme throughout the entire company.
Continuously Improve
On both a personal and corporate level, we should always strive to grow and enhance our abilities. We endeavor to achieve excellence by continually making small incremental improvements to every aspect of what we do.
Communicate
Make sure everyone knows what we're about and what's going on. Always encourage communication to go both ways.
Have fun along the way
We think it's important to create some fun in our work and in our workplace. Without going overboard, we'd like to encourage an atmosphere where it's okay and expected to have a little fun, do things that are a little off the wall, and generally keep from becoming your run of the mill "drab" corporation. Keep things interesting and keep things light.
