We have created the industry's first platform in which we openly partner with domain owners to launch a large number of
niche online retail stores. As such, there may be some confusion as to exactly how our program works and how we're different
from other options available to the domain name community.
We're selective in the domains we work with - If we don't have appropriate products to complement the domain, we'll
decline to work with it, really. Likewise, we're not keen on stretching the definition of appropriate. If the products we carry
aren't exactly what a retail customer would expect to see on the site, we won't partner with the domain. While we may work with a
large number of domains in total, we're very sensitive to the issue of duplicate content. We aim to create value for both domain
owners and site visitors, and we do everything possible to reduce duplicate content rather than throwing up content at any domain
that is sent our way in hopes of the off chance of making a sale on a domain that we know from experience isn't likely to convert.
We're not saying this to discourage you from submitting domains for us to consider, rather so you understand when we must decline
from working with a submission.
If it doesn't create value, we give it back - If we launch a site and after some time find that the site is not generating
sales or other factors indicate that it is creating a poor user experience (high bounce rate, etc.), we'll notify you that we plan
to take the site down and allow you to use the domain for another purpose. We have processes in place which automatically scan for
these conditions and bring them to our attention to review. If it isn't creating value, we believe it's in everyone's best interest
to take the site down rather than leave up a site that is creating a negative experience for visitors of the site and not performing
for the site's owners.
We are not a domain parking service - Our sites are not advertising based. We rely on conversions to make money, and our
sites convert.
We launch real retail stores - not sites with dummy affiliate content pointing to someone else's store.
We do not crosslink - We don't employ "black hat" SEO tricks such as linking all of our sites to each other to create a
false impression of inbound links. We don't do any SEO trickery at all, nor do we allow our partners to participate in questionable
methods of site promotion.
We launch quality, fully functioning sites - not full of broken links. Our sites are solid, function properly, and are
equipped with advanced features such as product zoom views, designer and custom framing options, algorithm based product sorting,
and more features tested to improve conversion rate.
Sites are limited to niche appropriate content only - When we launch a site we only populate that site with products that
are appropriate for that niche. For example, on a site like SunflowerArtwork.com, it will only feature sunflower artwork and other
highly related floral art categories. You will not be able to navigate to sports pictures or any of our other products. So each
niche site may have between a couple hundred to a thousand or so pages, but we do not duplicate our entire catalog of products on
every site we launch, which is an important measure we take to reduce duplicate content.
We're retailers - We're one of the largest retailers on the Internet, and have built a sizable business competing with other
large retailers since 2004. This is an important distinction as it means that we know what we're doing in online retail, we know what
it means to truly compete, how to merchandise product, split testing to optimize conversion rate.
We're partners - We're not a mass domain monetization service. We work with a manageable number of domains, get to know our
partners, and focus on improving and growing the sites we launch.
